The movie "Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief" is inspired in a Rick Riordan's book, from the book series "Percy Jackson & the Olympians". It is the first book of the series (there are five). The movie takes place in the USA nowadays, where gods from the greek mythology have children (demigods) living between humans. Percy Jackson, a boy with dyslexia, finds out he is Poseidon's son. Poseidon, Zeus and Hades are brothers and also the greatest gods in Olympus. When Zeus has his lightining bolt, the most powerfull weapon in the world, stolen, everybody thinks that Percy stole it. The stolen lighting becomes Zeus' wrath reason. As he wants to kill Percy, since he thinks he is the thief, and get the lightning back, Percy has to tell Zeus that he didn't steal and help finding the bolt to save his mother. It is a cliff-hanging and a thrilling movie, with a lot of action and a good story.
